My attempt to change.

What I have to tell you that you won’t hear anyway? You get more than one chance to love something – unreservedly, unabashedly, utterly – but you’re stuck in this antiquated convention that there is only one true person. Open your eyes. We are all imperfect parts with which to make perfect machines. People don’t shake your hand and see your soul; they shake it and see your perceptions, your façade, and you can make it any shape you want. Make it fit and you will find love, no matter where or how many times you need to.

This is why all mankind ought to be called to intense earnestness.

Blessed are the earnest for they will truly know someone.

I don't know. I have been able to be completely honest with people before, but it doesn't work right away. A little feeling out is required because the vehicle is almost as important as a message.

If I empirically wrote my life story and handed it to you, it wouldn't really be something you would want to hear, but if I convey it, piece by piece, to you in a way that I believe you to be amenable to the experience would be much better absorbed.

This is what I meant when I spoke of facades and perceptions.
