When I was a child, I spake as a child,
I understood as a child, I thought as a child:
but when I became a man, I put away
childish things. For now we see through a
glass, darkly; but then face to face: now
I know in part; but then shall I know even
as also I am known.

Igniter.
It is better to be a machine of change than preservation.
I would say that preservation is futile and all progress sadly destructive, but such is the nature of the beast... and why we have revolutions. History, when graphed, is about monumentous spikes and slow declines, like some kind of heartbeat with pulses of ages.
I wonder about that, must all progress be destructive? I do understand your reasoning and it seems valid and yet I am constantly looking for constructive ways "to move forward."
